He was born in 1967 in Kayseri. He completed his undergraduate education at Selçuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 and his Ph.D. education at Selçuk University Institute of Health Sciences in 1994 (Pharmacology and Toxicology). He received the title of Associate Professor in 1998 and Professor in 2004. In 2012, he served as the founding partner of Seropark R&D Biotechnology Co.Ltd. and served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors between 2012-2016. In 2017, Serocon R&D Biyoteknoloji Sağlık Kimya San. ve Tic. A.Ş.  in the establishment of the company. During the 2020-2021 period, he worked as a Member of the Group Advisory Board of the Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Research Support Group under the TUBITAK Research Support Programs Directorate. He has 9 TUBITAK Projects (5 in 1001, 4 in 1507) and 45 international articles.
